POT TV – Coverage of a recent Health Canada meeting from CTV News and PotTV.
Recent changes to Health Canada’s requirements for micro cannabis cultivation sites was discussed around the country, and being met with frustration and anger.
CTV News caught a glimpse of Health Canada’s seemingly tone-deaf approach to cannabis regulation during a national overdose crisis, but was barred from filming the contentious consultation.
Longtime cannabis activist David Malmo-Levine confronted Health Canada officials during the meeting in Vancouver, BC, over policies many in the longtime cannabis community have asserted are designed to block access to legal production and continue prohibition measures.
Lawyer John Conroy asked the questions medical patients have demanded to know for years, ‘where is store-front medical access, and why are there so many barriers to accessing high-quality craft cannabis?’
