Why New York Must Change Its Marijuana Laws
POT TV - Harry Levine, a professor at Queens college and founder of the Marijuana Arrest Research Project, explains how New York City arrests more people for marijuana possession than any other city in the world.
New York Governor Andrew Cuomo proposed decriminalizing the possession of small amounts of pot (in public view!) and the idea was supported by Mayor Bloomberg, Police Commissioner Ray Kelly, the Patrolman's Benevolent Association president, and state District Attorneys.
Sadly, it looks like Republican lawmakers have killed the idea.
