POT TV – Highlights from the Global Marijuana March in Vancouver BC on May 5th, 2018.
In the ongoing paradox of prohibition, Vancouver police officers first seized cannabis being sold as protestors prepared their rally, then provided an escort for cannabis activists through the downtown streets.
Protestors began their preparation at the Vancouver Art Gallery, marched through the downtown core, and finished at the beach, defying existing and proposed regulations by giving away joints to smoke at 4:20pm to the crowd.
Speakers expressed their concerns over the continued unjust prohibition of cannabis, and their fears over the proposed “legalization” bill, C45/46, which adds more, specific penalties to cannabis possession, cultivation and sale in Canada.
