Pancreatic Cancer Marijuana Hospital Hassle

POT TV – A Missouri man with pancreatic cancer had his room searched by police because of pot.

A Missouri man’s Facebook post showing police searching his hospital room has been viewed more than 350,000 times and is quickly being shared online.

Nolan Sousley posted a video to “Nolan’s Tribe of Warriors Against Cancer” of officers searching his room because of ‘the scent of marijuana.’ Nolan claims in the video he takes cannabis capsules, which do not have an odor. It’s unclear where the complaint originated, but the response has been overwhelming.

The Springfield News Leader reported “A police department representative answering the phone Friday morning said she had been “called every name in the book” by outraged members of the public.”

Progress on medical marijuana in Missouri has been slow, with many patients and producers waiting for relief.
